About Us

Fingerprint of Change is a non-profit organization created by a group of youth, with different backgrounds (educational, health, psycho-social, finance, among others…), who have been working in the humanitarian field since 2005.

We aim at providing high quality programs which build up from communities’ human capital. Our work is devoted to making a difference in the communities we target, by means of empowering individuals to contribute in leading processes of development and social change, with a particular focus on women youth and people with special needs.

With a diverse set of projects, ranging from culture and basic education, and non-formal education such as basic literacy and numeracy classes, sports that promote peacebuilding, health and safety, gender equality, human rights, Child Protection etc. To Livelihoods and job opportunities creation, to leadership programs, from learning support and psychosocial support to food security, and to legal and humanitarian support to migrant domestic workers. Fingerprint of Change aims to make a significant contribution to Lebanese civil society humanitarian and development response in Lebanon, contribute in putting individuals at the heart of change, as factors of development.

Both organizations’ mainstream gender, age and diversity and the promotion of human and rights are key values, in order to support all vulnerable Lebanese and refugee communities, in addition to migrant domestic workers.

Fingerprint of Change, with its experienced, community-led team seek to be a changemaker model working with disadvantaged communities of low socio-economic status refugees and people with special needs, in order to enhance their knowledge and skills and change negative attitudes.

Children youth and women are the most affected from stressful situation, and this causes negative effects on their development and physical and mental wellbeing, therefore fingerprint of change is seeking resources and support in order to provide psycho-social support to build children’s resilience and enhance caregiver’s skills of positive discipline and stress management technique.
